I like taking pictures outdoors. Neither light nor background is in my hands, improvisation is key to success. But improvising does not mean being helpless: it's a call for constant attention, for both sides.
It forces us to articulate what we want from a picture in an iterative manner. The circumstances have to meet our needs, but at the same time they will provide us with inspiration.
